I’ve been following the Ranulph Fiennes story ( love that man ) where his wife has put him in a home, seemingly against his will.
You might think this kinda stuff is rare, but it happened to me.
In November 2016, when I’d been in hospital for 4 months, my then wife informed the hospital that I was not welcome back to our ( new ) home, that the locks would be changed if I did try to return, and had found somewhere more suitable for me to live – a Care Home around a hundred miles away from London.

Thankfully, her actions were all illegal and I obviously challenged her wishes, at which point she backed down ( well she is a solicitor, so has to be careful not to do anything illegal, and be caught ).
