And it was great to see my chum , Mikey S for a beer the other night.
I had no idea about his close friendships with Gareth Thomas, Huw Edwards and Philip Schofield… and their weekends away together.
They certainly had a lot of fun.
Who knew he has led such a leather/ star studded life!
Hello Russ
I stumbled on your blog looking for old pictures of UWIST rugby. I’m writing some memoirs. I just wanted to wish you all the best and huge respect for your strength.
Hey thanks David.
Not the best thing to have happened to me.. but not much I can do about it 🤷
I can only imagine how hard it must be, not just the life limitations but also the ongoing pain and symptoms that many don’t realise. I know how hard for such a sports oriented person it is. I’m writing my memoirs which I have found really helpful to appreciate the amazing highs (and lows) life has brought. May be worth you giving it a go, if you haven’t. All the very best to you. D
I appreciate how tough it must be living with such struggles including the ongoing symptoms and pain that you get. It’s particularly unfair for someone who loved sport. I’m finding writing about my life really helpful to re-connect and appreciate the many good times (as well as the lows). Worth trying if you haven’t already, you’ll have some amazing stories to tell I’m sure. Look after yourself and wish you the very best. D
