Pretty sure that hole’s not supposed to be there.
No wonder it hurts. Christ, no wonder I begged to be turned over as I lay on those in the road for an hour..
Not a dead person’s skeleton, me! Count the broken ribs..
A few pics as promised.
Pulse.
Resting pulse now 74 beats per minute.
A Sh…. Load faster than my pre accident 39bpm but much better than the 105 bpm two weeks ago.
Think that means I’m healing fast and my heart consequently can take its’ foot off the gas.
Good news.
Me, before I lost the weight..
Me and Rob after kayaking a 1000 miles.
Yep, another bloke in his skimpies…
I knew something wasn’t right!
Turns out, after today’s x ray and ultra sound, that I broke both my right clavicle ( collar bone) and scapula ( shoulder blade ) too.
Explains why the right shoulder hurts so much when the physios get me to do pretty much anything.
So… They’re gonna take it easy on the right sided stuff until it gets better.
Or that’s the idea anyway.
It seems to be up to me to keep reminding the guys here which part of me hurts.
I’ve got some amazing pics of my broken body ( or at least my skeleton ) from scans done in France that I’ll post tomorrow. Not for the feint hearted… Be warned.
Hope you’re all fabulously well out there.
