Guess how much I have had to pay for ‘ special ski poles’ for sit skiing, on account of being paralysed?

Pretty good standard ski poles made of carbon fibre  for ‘normal’ skiers are about £70 .. for reference.

    1. Prices for all ‘ disabled ‘ kit are approx 10 times what you might guess at.
      There must be some kind of price fixing cartel here. There are NO cheap options. These ski poles are essentially sawn off hospital crutches ( they cost about £10 ) with a crappy plastic ski bolted onto the bottom.

      Man, anybody with a workshop could make them…

      1. if it is any use for next time, i might have some US crutches from when my son broke his leg skiing 🙂 if we didn’t give them away you are welcome to them.
